In their October 12, 2012 edition the Palm Beach Post ran a very good article about Richard Procyk and the Loxahatchee Battlefield Park.  The link to that article is:

New improvements are now in place.  The classroom chickee is now completed and the crushed shell trails have been layed through the battlefield.  Come and visit the park, you will like it.

Palm Beach County approved the "Battlefield Park" signs for the Florida Turnpike exit at Indiantown Rd.  The signs are now in place.  Many more people should now become aware of us.

Are you interested in learning the history of the 2 battles that took place in the park?  Consider joining the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservations and you can not only learn the history but you can help preserve it.

Members, we are looking for volunteers to serve as docents to help conduct tours of the battlefield.  Please step forward and offer to help in this very important service.
